Might as well be the Browns...they can't possibly worry about the Hard Knocks "curse".

Well, it's safe to say the Rams had a reverse of the All or Nothing curse we started. As for Hard Knocks, it needs to be the Browns so we can watch that train wreck up close.

yeah...cleveland just needs to install permanent CCTV and send the tapes to the league... no reason to subject anyone else to hard knocks

Anyone watch tonight? Bob Wylie is still coaching for the Browns and he has to be pushing 400 lbs.

When a guy is that overweight, you cannot help but feel bad for the guy

Hue Jackson seems like he shouldn't be a HC, he doesn't have that authority IMO

Wouldn't doubt he's breaking 400.

Why would you feel bad for someone when there is a really good chance that is totally self inflicted?

His extreme weight is probably self inflicted but when you are able to get that big, it also means you will probably have been overweight to being with even if you work out except not to that degree... I see a old guy carrying that much weight and think of his health and yea, I feel bad for him

As a fellow rotunda, I say put the cookie down. Often easier said than done though.

The question is... why do certain individuals lack self control? Usually because they are medicating to dull past psychological pain - such as being picked on for being fat. It’s a vicious circle. Like any addiction, the reason they’re in pain is often due to their belief in lies and lack of self control.

Not really, at this point it is a choice.
not so. I have always been big, but rarely fat...but a pituitary tumor has caused my body to stop producing hormones so I have no metabolism...I am running 365 these days, nutritional plans and exercise has little effect... the only options the medical community can come up with is surgery...which is basically self imposed starvation...and that comes with its own host of health issues. people are not always fat because they are lazy or cannot push away from a bag of cheetohs.

curiously, a fairly high percent of the population are born with these pituitary tumors... in some people they grow later in life while in others they do not... but I hear they cause health issues for about 20% of the population

Yeah I agree. I thought Todd Haley's head was going to explode when Jackson said he wasn't going to change his policy to give certain players rest.

Yeah all I could think during that scene is both Haley and Gregg Williams are sitting there plotting on how they'll get Jackson out and become the HC.

Anyone watching? What are your take aways. I've actually got HBO for the 1st time in years and forgot about this show. My biggest observation right now is that Todd Haley seems to be more of a HC than Jackson. Heck, I think the team listens to Tyrod Taylor more than Jackson.

I’m enjoying it. I like Lamar Landry more. I think that both sides of the WB competition are coming off well.

Hue Jackson looks like a clown. It doesn’t seem like anyone respects him. Part of that is the edit. But don’t put yourself in the position to look that way.

Lots of former AZ coaches on that staff. One guy sitting next to Haley was wearing a Suns polo in the premier.

Haley told Landry that “Fitzgerald would” put a troubled teammate under his wing. That was a cool moment.

Drew Stanton is funny!

Yeah it's like Arizona Mid West out there. I keep looking for Amos Jones to make sure he is out of Arizona but haven't seen him yet.

The Fitz comment was awesome. And yes Stanton is hilarious.

The whole Calloway getting pulled over by the cops and then not being able to tell the team about it the next day was some dramatic stuff. I kind of felt bad for the kid because he knew he let his team down. HBO does such an awesome job with stuff like this.

The Browns are either going to boom or completely fall apart. Haley and Williams on the same staff is a recipe for a gritty, smashmouth team or a total disaster.
