The Cleveland Browns already drafted one young quarterback in the NFL Draft, landing sixth round pick Taylen Green. However, with Cincinnati and Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby now headed to the Supplemental Draft, and with the Browns in the highest-priority tier of the draft, could they really add another quarterback to the roster?
The tools and prototypical size are there, but is the rest of his game?
After his announcement, Sorsby went on to release a statement.
Here is what Sorsby had to say as he now looks ahead to the Supplemental Draft:
"I am grateful for the support from my family, my Tech coaching staff, teammates, the community, and so many others who have encouraged me to address and learn more about this important issue. As my journey continues, I remain fully committed to and focused on being the best I can be, both on and off the field."
Now, the ball is in the Browns' court, who sit in the first tier in the Supplemental Draft and may have one of the better chances at landing the quarterback.
