NBC Picks Up “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”

It looks like FOX’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” has been saved from cancellation with actress Stephanie Beatriz, who plays Rosa Diaz on the series, tweeting out NBC has picked up the series for a sixth season. Subsequently, other cast and crew members and the network itself confirmed the news.

Hulu was seen as a perfect fit as it owns the comedy’s SVOD rights and had successfully rescued another FOX comedy “The Mindy Project”. There were conversations between the two parties but then came word Hulu has passed on the possibility.

I've binged from the start and I'm half way into the final season now. This might be one of the greatest sitcoms ever! I like that they are hitting hard topics in the final season
