The Denver Broncos are coming off a warm regular season, but that pleasant weather might not continue for the divisional round of the NFL playoffs.
All nine games at Empower Field at Mile High this season had a kickoff temperature of at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit, including a 69-degree kickoff in the regular season finale on Jan. 4.
Denver's now set to host the Buffalo Bills in Saturday's playoff showdown and AccuWeather's forecast calls for a high of 55 degrees and a low of 35 degrees. There's currently a 28% chance of cloud cover with no rain expected, but AccuWeather projects gusts of wind up to five miles per hour.
9News senior meteorologist Chris Bianchi currently expects 45 degrees around kickoff (2:30 p.m. MT) with the possibility of 15-25 MPH winds. That would certainly be more notable than the mild AccuWeather projection, and temperatures could also drop.
Saturday's game will be nationally televised on CBS. Despite being the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, the Broncos are considered home underdogs against the Bills this week.

Still think this is the best glance at Broncos weather on Saturday. Seasonally chilly (mid-40s) with a bit of a breeze (15-25 mph).
Don’t be surprised if these temps get moved down though. We’re right on the edge of a very cold air mass.#COwxpic.twitter.com/RngUxwwhmC
