The Denver Broncos will be back on the practice field next week.

Following rookie minicamp earlier this month, the Broncos are set to begin organized team activities (OTAs) on Tuesday, June 2. The team will have two sets of OTAs, from June 2-4 and again from June 9-11. Those OTAs are technically voluntary, but Denver's expected to have strong attendance.

After that, the club will hold a mandatory minicamp from June 16-18. Players will be fined if they skip the minicamp.

Following the mandatory minicamp, Broncos players will get a summer break until the start of training camp, which typically begins in late July. Here's a quick look at the team's remaining (and completed) offseason schedule.

Broncos offseason schedule

  • Start of offseason program: May 4
  • Rookie minicamp: May 8-10
  • OTAs: June 2-4; June 9-11
  • Mandatory minicamp: June 16-18
  • Training camp: Begins late July

Last year, Denver announced its training camp schedule in late June with the first practice scheduled for July 25. Fans can probably expect a similar timeline this summer.
