The Denver Broncos' season ended in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday and now the team will turn its attention to the offseason.

One of the top priorities for Denver will be bringing in more help at wide receiver. The Broncos have Courtland Sutton and some promising young wideouts, but they could use another veteran to serve as the No. 2 option in the passing attack.

In order to help Bo Nix and the offense out, ESPN's Aaron Schatz predicts Denver will sign Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce, who is projected to land an $80 million contract in free agency by Spotrac.

"After exploring a trade for Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle in November, the Broncos will finally get their WR2 by signing the Colts' Alec Pierce. A big, physical receiver who can block and win on contested catches downfield, he's a perfect fit for Nix's play style and Payton's offense," Schatz wrote.

Given the Broncos' trade-deadline interest in Miami Dolphins wideout Jaylen Waddle, it's clear Denver is interested in adding more firepower to the wide receivers room.

Pierce is coming off his best season as a pro. He finished with 1,003 yards and six touchdowns, with the former mark being a career-high for him. Making that output more impressive is the fact that Pierce missed two games due to injury.

Pierce also led the NFL in yards per reception once again, cementing him as one of the best big-play threats in the league.

His explosiveness as a downfield threat will add another element to head coach Sean Payton's offense, and a one-two punch of Pierce and Sutton would greatly improve Nix's chances of taking another step forward in 2026.

The Colts are no doubt interested in bringing Pierce back, but if that doesn't pan out, we could definitely see Pierce landing in Denver this offseason.
