The Denver Broncos allowed the practice squad contracts of ten players to expire on Monday, and those players are now NFL free agents.
Denver signed 12 players to reserve/future contracts and allowed ten others to hit free agency. The list of players who have not received deals includes QB Ben DiNucci and TE Marcedes Lewis, who is expected to retire following his 20th season in the NFL.
Players who are not on an active roster at the end of the season are eligible to sign reserve/future deals. After signing reserve contracts, players officially join the 90-man offseason roster when the new league year begins in March.
Delarrin Turner-Yell ended his season on the team's practice squad/injured list.
Last year, Denver's list of reserve/future signees included cornerback Reese Taylor and Throckmorton, who both spent time on the Broncos' active roster this season.
