NFL Insider Adam Schefter has reported that the Buffalo Bills have a strong interest in the Denver Broncos' defensive pass coordinator and former Wisconsin Badgers great Jim Leonhard.

Leonhard has been high on the boards of teams needing a strong defensive mind. He had interest in the Green Bay Packers' DC job, but it was filled recently by Jonathan Gannon, who was the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals until his termination. A few weeks ago, Leonhard also interviewed with the Dallas Cowboys.

The presence of Leonhard, having played in the NFL and being a part of the staff that had one of the NFL's most prolific defenses in the Denver Broncos this year, could bode well to take the pressure off of Josh Allen next season, as he will be in search of his first Super Bowl appearance.

Leonhard spent 2017-2022 as the Badgers' defensive coordinator, where he starred on defense during his playing days.
