The Denver Broncos have officially signed quarterback Ben DiNucci to their practice squad, the team announced Monday.

DiNucci, who previously served as the team's third-string QB in 2023, will provide more depth at the position following Bo Nix's season-ending ankle injury. Jarrett Stidham is set to start in the AFC Championship game on Sunday with Sam Ehlinger serving as QB2. DiNucci returns in a QB3 role.

To make room for DiNucci on the practice squad, Denver terminated the contract of outside linebacker Garrett Nelson. The team's 17-player practice squad is now full ahead of the AFC title game. The Broncos also designated running back J.K. Dobbins to return from injured reserve on Monday.
