One of the most notable remaining free agents* for the Denver Broncos is now off the market. Technically, he was never on the market.

The Philadelphia Eagles reached an agreement on a one-year deal with tight end Dallas Goedert on Sunday, ensuring that he won't become an unrestricted free agent. Goedert's contract was set to void last Wednesday, which would have made him a free agent. The Eagles pushed that void date to Friday, giving them more time to negotiate an extension.

When Friday arrived, Philadelphia pushed the void date to Monday, giving them another window to negotiate. Then, before Goedert could hit free agency on Monday (today), the Eagles gave him a one-year deal on Sunday. Meanwhile, Philly wide receiver A.J. Brown remains a potential trade candidate.

The Broncos have enough salary cap space to make a trade, but it remains to be seen if they might target Brown. At tight end, David Njoku is the most notable free agent still available.
