The Tennessee Titans' head coaching search is over, and the hunt for an offensive coordinator has begun.

One of the top candidates for the job is Brian Daboll, and information is coming out that if he doesn't land the Buffalo Bills' head coaching job, then he will land in Tennessee.

The Eagles are conducting their offensive coordinator search with the understanding that Brian Daboll wants the Bills’ head coaching job. If he doesn’t land it, Daboll is expected to wind up in Tennessee as the offensive coordinator for Cam Ward and the Titans, per sources.

While the offensive coordinator with the Bills from 2018-2021, Daboll was instrumental in developing Josh Allen into the elite quarterback he is today. Daboll cut the playbook down, focused on decision speed rather than complexity, and he built the offense around Allen's strengths.

As Allen continued to improve, Daboll expanded the offense. By Allen's third year in the league, the Bills went to the conference championship, Allen earned his first Pro Bowl nomination, and he was named second-team All-Pro.

Daboll won't get Cam Ward as a rookie, but he can use a similar strategy to develop Ward into the elite quarterback he has the potential to be. Daboll knows how to bring out the best in a young quarterback, and when he can focus solely on the offensive side of the ball, he will be able to coach Ward effectively and efficiently.
