Fourteen members of the Milwaukee Brewers organization will suit up with their countries' colors in the World Baseball Classic in March.
After a round of exhibition games against big-league teams, WBC games will begin March 4 (Australia vs. Chinese Taipei in Tokyo) and March 5 (Korea vs. Czechia and Australia vs. Czechia in Tokyo), with a full slate March 6 (including USA vs. Brazil).
Here's the full list of Brewers-organization players in the WBC, highlighted by first-timers Brice Turang, Jackson Chourio and William Contreras:
Former Brewers include Rowdy Tellez (Mexico), Luis Urías (Mexico), José Quintana (Colombia), Javy Guerra (Panama), Paolo Espino (Panama), Thyago Vieira (Brazil), Carlos Santana (Dominican Republic), Martín Maldonado (Puerto Rico) and Jorge López (Puerto Rico).
You may recognize some former Brewers farmhands, as well, including catcher Alex Hall (Australia), pitcher Max Lazar (Israel), pitcher Abdiel Mendoza (Panama) and pitcher Daniel Missaki (Brazil), who was part of the return for Adam Lind, alongside Freddy Peralta, in a 2015 trade.
Infielder Max Durrington, the son of former Brewers infielder Trent Durrington, will represent Australia.
Sal Frelick will not return to Team Italy, who he played for in the 2023 WBC.
