Milwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Abner Uribe was suspended by MLB for one game and fined an undisclosed amount for a crotch-chopping gesture he made in May toward the St. Louis Cardinals' dugout at American Family Field.
The Brewers announced Uribe will serve the one-game suspension during Milwaukee's series finale against the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park on June 24.
Uribe has pitched four of the last five days, including a scoreless inning in each of the first two games of the series.
