Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane is already working his salary cap magic during the 2026 NFL offseason.

With free agency en route in March, Beane announced from the combine that the team and offensive lineman Spencer Brown have agreed to restructure his contract. The move will reportedly free just over $10 million in salary cap space for the Bills:

Brown, 27, was previously set to count $19.3 against Buffalo's salary cap in 2026 and the team is still approximately $4 million over the cap, according to Spotrac. Beane himself added that he's unsure of the Bills' exact salary cap total.

Brown signed a four-year, $72 million contract extension last offseason.

Spencer appeared in 14 games for the Bills last year. Pro Football Focus gave Brown a 76.2 overall grade for his efforts, good for the 21st best tackle (both right and left) in the NFL last season.

Brown was a third-round pick by Buffalo in 2022.

Bills Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2026 offseason.
