Dec. 28—BRAINERD — The Willmar boys swimming and diving team finished fourth of four teams Saturday at the Brainerd Invitational.
Brainerd won the event with 595 points. Willmar had 353.
The Cardinals' top finish came in the 100-yard breaststroke. Samuel Sheets came in first place with a time of 1 minute, 4.94 seconds.
In the 50 freestyle, Sheets placed second in 23.36. Waconia's Henry Kleve took first in 22.14.
Willmar's next competition is a dual at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6 at Dassel-Cokato.
