62 years ago today, Muhammad Ali (then Cassius Clay) defeated Sonny Liston to become the heavyweight champion of the world at 22 years old

Today, it was announced that Ali's gift of inscribed boxing gloves to President Barack Obama, will now be put on display at the Obama Presidential Center Museum later this year in June.

The WBC have now officially ordered Lamont Roach vs William Zepeda for the vacant WBC lightweight world title.

The title was originally held by Shakur Stevenson, who was stripped following his win over Teofimo Lopez at The Ring VI in January over unpaid sanctioning fees.
