Abby Andrieux has lost all three of her matches so far [BBC]
Jersey bowler Abby Andrieux says she is enjoying playing "world-class" opposition at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Andrieux has yet to win a game in the women's singles and lost 2-0 to reigning gold medallist Ellen Fife in her third game on Thursday morning.
Fife, who beat Guernsey's Lucy Beere to win singles gold in 2022, won the first set 12-5 despite Andrieux drawing level at 3-3 after the third end.
The Jersey player conceded a four-shot maximum in the opening end of the second set and went on to lose it 8-4.
"It's tough out there, you're playing the world's best but I performed OK," she told BBC Jersey. "I had some good ends, some not so good ends.
"It's a privilege to play world class people, gain the experience and hopefully in years to come I can only do better.
"I'll keep pushing on and hopefully get that win at some point this week."
Andrieux will face Cook Islands' Emily Jim in her fourth game on Thursday evening.
