The Boston Celtics will play host to the Philadelphia 76ers at their home arena of TD Garden this Sunday (Mar. 1) evening with a notable name still on the injury report. Despite this, the Celtics will be looking to get back to having a win streak to their name.
The Sixers have some injury concerns of their own to sort out, but will be looking to defend their current win streak even a bit banged up, so this ought to be a compelling game. We are expecting a Boston win for this game, but Philadelphia has the horses to steal a win if the Celtics are not vigilant.
At present, the Celtics have a 39-20 record, which has them second in the Eastern Conference standings.
The Sixers are the owners of a 33-26 record and a three-game win streak, good enough for sixth place in the East.
Boston beat the Brooklyn Nets 148-111 at home.
Philly beat the Miami Heat 124-117, also at home.
For Boston, Jayson Tatum (Achilles) is out, and Baylor Scheierman (thumb) is questionable.
For Philly, Joel Embiid (quad), Johni Broome (knee), and Paul George (suspension) are out.
