After five years, Conor McGregor finally returned to action opposite old rival, Max Holloway, earlier tonight (Sat., July 11, 2026) at UFC 329 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sadly, McGregor injured himself almost immediately with a flying high kick, resulting in another immediate injury loss (see it here).

Seriously.

In addition to the Welterweight headliner, UFC 329 fortunately featured a very deep card full of familiar faces, a whole bunch of vicious finishes, and a couple back-and-forth wars. Check out some of the key moments below and let us know which performances stand out the most!

  • Paddy Pimblett wasted no time and choked out Benoit Saint-Denis in the opening minute of their highly-anticipated Lightweight clash.
  • Brandon Royval and Lone’er Kavanagh went to war in a bloody brawl filled with momentum shifts right up until Royval strangled his opponent in the third round.
  • Terrance McKinney sprinted at King Green but couldn’t maintain his own output, crumbling to a body shot late in the first round.
  • Robert Whittaker debuted in style at 205-pounds, cracking the jaw of longtime contender Nikita Krylov.
  • Gable Steveson ran over Elisha Ellison in his UFC debut, and he did it without a single takedown! The Olympic gold medalist brutalized his opponent with nasty front kicks and clubbing hooks.
  • Adrian Yanez and Cody Garbrandt brawled until somebody hit the floor, and that somebody was the former champion.
  • Luke Riley continued his undefeated run with a slightly controversial stoppage of Kai Kamaka III.
  • Damian Pinas proved himself a Middleweight to watch with a remarkable one-punch KO over kickboxing ace Cesar Almeida in the very first round.
  • Ryan Gandra picked up his second UFC knockout win with a leaping left hook finish of Zachary Reese in just 75 seconds.
  • Alessandro Costa kicked off the “Prelims” with a bloody strangle of Cody Durden, winning on just two week’s notice!

Now that the Octagon action has come to a close, let’s take a closer look at the official UFC 329 post-fight bonus winners. Remember, each winner gets an extra $100,000, while every fighter leftover who earned a finish gets $25,000.

  • Performance of the Night: Paddy Pimblett

  • Fight of the Night: Brandon Royval vs. Lone’er Kavanagh
