For what it is worth.

Makes some sense since he's pretty quick on his feet, and currently the 4th best T on the roster.

Yeah, it makes sense to move a guy who has lacked strength inside with all the bruisers :bang: lol BA is beginning to make me think he's the perfect Cardinal HC to carry on our fine Redbird tradition! ;)

I might be wrong, but I don't like it.

This early in the season, the coaching staff may be relying on experience to be a hedge against better talent. It would make sense that playing smarter, and making fewer mental errors, would be the way to go at this juncture. With 27 new players on the roster, experience may be the way to proceed at this early point.

Arians has said time and again, he's not afraid to play the young guys (even rookies). He played a lot of young guys when he coached the Colts.

Because he seems to like his guards to be able to get out and pull which is why he loved Cooper so much, he's so athletic.

I don't think either he or Massie are really suited to play guard, but if you want your guards to pull often, you probably pick the one with better movement.

SHH, he played football and baseball in college at South Central Louisiana State University, don't question him. ;)

I think Eric Winston outplayed Massie.

I think Bobby Massie regressed or struggled with the new regime. He was playing against #2's and wasn't exactly dominating.

Yet, I think Massie is a little bit better in pass protection and Winston is WAY better at run blocking.

I say this while being a huge fan of Massie. His time will come.

In the week 1 traning camp practice that I watched, Massie was getting an earfull from Arians about something. Not sure what it was about.

I also read in Urban's recent chat that Massie was making way too many mental errors for Arians liking.

I think Eric Winston outplayed Massie.

Heard the same thing that Massie was making to many mental errors.

Not sure BASK would automatically start Winston of Massie because Winston gets some pretty nice bonuses for being a starter/number of snaps.

Some things never change, fans who don't know the schemes, don't see much if any TC, don't get the coaches film or if they do don't no each players assignment etc.

I guess it's good for some debate but calling coaches idiots because they aren't starting the player you "like" is ...........well being a fan. :)

Personally, I think Massie wilted under the pressure of competition when they brought in Winston. He just didn't seem to respond well once he was stripped of his starter role.

Too many times in the preseason Massie was looking the wrong way and picking up the wrong guy. With that in mind there is probably a reason the Cardinals only signed Winston to a 1 year deal. I agree with the comment that Massie's time will come.
