When: Middle school meet, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 20; high school meet, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 21.

What to watch: Now more than six decades old, billed for years as the nation's largest single-day high school track and field meet, the Bob Hayes Invitational holds its fourth edition since relocating to UNF's Hodges Stadium. ... The annual event honors the legacy of Hayes, who graduated from Matthew W. Gilbert High School on Jacksonville's Eastside on his way to Olympic gold as world's fastest man in 1964 and an outstanding NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys.
