Bo Groulx is still playing hockey despite the Toronto Maple Leafs being at home.
That's because the AHL Toronto Marlies are still in action in their postseason, and Groulx is helping their cause.
That meant that Groulx had a media availability midday Wednesday, and he was quickly asked about Leafs head coach Craig Berube.
Berube was fired on Wednesday morning, and Groulx and the Marlies had been getting some work in on the ice.
Groulx hadn't heard until that question.
"I haven't heard anything yet," Groulx told the gathered reporters, "but now well, guess he got fired."
He took it right in stride.

The players obviously aren't ignorant to what's going on. Groulx surely had a sense that the Leafs head coach could be on the way out.
And that's what the new front office ended up deciding. Toronto will get a new NHL head coach.
For Groulx, he'll have to keep working to impress whoever holds that role, so it won't change his approach much.
And besides, right now he's focused on winning with the Marlies.
