2027 blue-chip linebacker AJ Randle has been extremely busy lately. He just wrapped a tour of the Sunshine State as he took visits to see the Florida Gators, Miami Hurricanes, and FSU Seminoles.

His trip to Florida State was on Monday, and it was the first time he was on campus. The Seminoles took a major leap in Randle's recruitment during the visit. However, he went into further detail about why the idea of playing in Tallahassee is standing out.

“With Florida State, the detail stood out,” Randle said via Rivals. “Everything is structured and they’re very intentional with how they develop their players.

“I watched how they coached during practice and how they teach. They develop players and push them to get better every day.”

Ernie Sims is in his first season as the linebackers coach at FSU. It's critical for him to lay out how players will be utilized in his system. When it came to Randle, he did a great job in doing so.

“They broke down how they would use me and what I could become in their defense,” Randle said. “I like how they keep it real and show you the plan.”

Randle has official visits to South Carolina and Florida in May, and he'll also take one to Oregon in June. He mentioned that Florida State is also in the mix for an official visit.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder is the No. 102 recruit nationally and the No. 7 linebacker per the Rivals industry rankings. Randle is listed as the No. 5 prospect in the state of North Carolina.
