Jan. 10—ALEXANDRIA — One day after taking home a first-place jazz finish and a runner-up high kick placement in Montevideo, the Bemidji High School dance team had similar success in Alexandria.
The Blue Angels took first in high kick and second in jazz to cap a hardware-claiming weekend on the road.
BHS edged out Alexandria, Detroit Lakes and Albany for first place. Willmar, Buffalo, Moorhead and Pequot Lakes/Pine River followed.
In jazz, the Blue Angels finished only behind Detroit Lakes. Buffalo, Alexandria, Albany, Pequot Lakes/Pine River, Moorhead and Willmar followed in order.
