The road to a first Buffalo Bills Super Bowl victory starts in Duval County this season and there’s a chance of rain before kickoff.

It should be a break from the freezing cold of Highmark Stadium for the Bills, who finished the season with consecutive home games. The Jacksonville Jaguars, winners of eight straight games, had a 7-1 record at EverBank Stadium this season.

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville predicts a gametime temperature of 66 degrees, with just a single-digit chance of precipitation. Winds will be out of the northwest with sustained speeds up to 11 mph and gusts of 18-20 mph. Skies will be mostly cloudy.

The AccuWeather forecast calls for decreasing clouds and a gametime high of 66 degrees. The chance of precipitation is at 16-20% during the game, but no rain is expected for the duration.

How Bills vs. Jags weather will impact odds, betting​


With ideal temperatures, moderate winds and little chance of precipitation, the Bills should have the best weather conditions on Wild Card weekend. Other matchups will be marred by rain, snow or freezing temperatures.

So, the weather impacts on the outcome are expected to be limited. The betting sites agree, with only OddsTrader identifying a light impact on the offense due to wind.

The Bills are favored by 1 point over the AFC South champions, with quarterback Josh Allen having a long history of excelling in the postseason. The over/under is set at 51.5 points, the highest mark in the Wild Card Round by more than 5 points.
