UCLA and Purdue's quarterfinals matchup of the 2026 Big Ten Baseball Tournament has been delayed due to weather.
Inclement weather continues to wreak havoc at conference tournaments across the country, and the No. 1 Bruins' game won't start until at least 7 p.m. ET at the earliest, the conference announced Friday, May 22. The status of Michigan-Nebraska will be determined after UCLA-Purdue concludes, while Oregon-Washington won't be played until sometime on Saturday, May 22.

The SEC baseball tournament is also dealing with severe weather in Hoover, Alabama, with games being pushed back on Friday, May 21. Even Nebraska-Oklahoma State's nearby Super Regional matchup of the NCAA Softball Tournament was suspended until May 22 after half-an inning was played May 21.

Multiple games of the Big Ten baseball tournament quarterfinals were pushed back on Friday, May 22, due to inclement weather at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska, where the Men's College World Series is held.
UCLA-Purdue is set for no later than 7 p.m. ET, whereas Nebraska vs. Michigan's game status will be determined later in the evening on May 22. Oregon and Washington's scheduled matchup was pushed back to May 23 at an undetermined time.
Weather.com projects scattered thunderstorms in Omaha, Nebraska, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET, with up to 0.25 inches of total rainfall possible.
It'll be 68 degrees at Charles Schwab Field, and it's yet to be seen if weather will comply for UCLA-Purdue to be played on time.
