The thing with Ball is yes, he can't shoot - but the Suns wouldn't need any real contribution from him scoring wise with Booker, Ayton, Bridges, Warren (assuming he's stlll here), and JJ. But he is a solid facilitator and shows signs of turning into a plus defender.
And yes, his overbearing father is a colossal PITA, with a potential for being a major distraction. But if the off-the-court stuff can be kept there, I can't see why he wouldn't bring a huge upside for a young Suns team. The only question mark in my mind is why the Lakers would want to add to building what could be a young Suns powerhouse team.
