Canada became the second host country to open its pursuit of the World Cup.
On Friday, the Canadians got a late goal and managed a tie with Bosnia-Herzegovina in Toronto. Mexico won its opener on Thursday, and the United States, the third host country, opens its World Cup later Friday against Paraguay at Los Angeles Stadium.
Cyle Larin came off the bench for Canada to get the equalizer. Each team earns a point for the tie.
