Best of Luka Garza with Boston Celtics in 2025-26 NBA regular season

Before he signed with the Boston Celtics, backup big man Luka Garza had not seen much time on the court in recent seasons. So the expectations for the Washington, DC native were not very high when he arrived in Boston last offseason, evidently great fuel for the center to have one of the best campaigns of his career to date with the Celtics.

Over the course of the 2025-26 NBA regular season, the Bosnian-American big man played nearly double the number of games he has played in any of his prior four seasons in the league. In that season, he shot 57.7 percent from the field overall, 43.3 percent from beyond the arc, and 76.9 percent from the free throw line while logging 8.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game.
