The Cincinnati Bengals approach the 2025 NFL draft with plenty of needs and only so many picks to work with in the process.
Before this week's big event, here's a look at a seven-round mock draft that features the Bengals making a small leap up the draft order to get a blue-chip weapon for the defense, courtesy of Pro Football Network's mock draft simulator.
The Bengals move up a handful of spots here while sacrificing a mid-round pick and change in 2026. Much has been written about Nick Emmanwori, but it's hard to ignore Malaki Starks falling down the board. He's got fantastic versatility and can play deep in the back end of the secondary, giving the Bengals instant production and insurance if the Geno Stone-Jordan Battle duo doesn't work out.
How about a Joe Mixon-like surprise? The Bengals worked out local running backs like Quinshon Judkins, whose short-burst explosiveness would pair very well with Chase Brown.
The Bengals showed notable interest in Omarr Norman-Lott and that comes to fruition here. They need his explosiveness and versatility to apply pressure, especially in tandem with sophomores Kris Jenkins Jr. and McKinnley Jackson.

How about another big-program prospect who can create pressure? Sai'vion Jones is 6'5" and 280 pounds of upward-trending development who can play all over the line.
An injury risk, Seth McLaughlin is still a solid value here. This draft outcome means possibly adding a free agent at guard to help out the interior, but this pick could provide a boon down the road.
A downhill linebacker who could crack the roster, Jamon Dumas-Johnson could fill out depth as the Bengals likely move on from Germaine Pratt.
