The Cincinnati Bengals extended Orlando Brown Jr. for two more years this offseason. They still are in need of a long-term solution for a swing tackle behind Brown and Amarius Mims.

According to Justin Melo of Sports Illustrated, the Bengals recently had a pre-draft visit with Florida offensive tackle Austin Barber.

Barber is 6’7” and 318 pounds. He has experience playing on both the left and right side of the line at tackle. He had his share of struggles in pass protection, most notably against Cashius Howell this past season.

He was elite as a run blocker with a 90.0 run blocking grade on the season. Barber is an experienced player who has played 2,700 career snaps. He is also a really good athlete as a former basketball player. He had a relatively athletic score of 9.77 at the scouting combine.

Barber is currently projected to be a mid-round draft selection. If he were still available in the fourth round, that would be a great value pick.
