Cincinnati Bengals great Willie Anderson was denied entry to the Pro Football Hall of Fame once again.

Thursday night at the NFL Honors, Anderson’s name wasn’t on the list.

The full class:

  • Drew Brees
  • Larry Fitzgerald
  • Luke Kuechly
  • Adam Vinatieri
  • Roger Craig (senior)

Anderson alluded to his status with a social media post hours before NFL Honors on Thursday:

Now in his 13th year of eligibility, Anderson is once again one of the more notable snubs in recent memory. He’s widely hailed as one of the best right tackles of his generation and is a Bengals Ring of Honor member.

Three Modern Era finalists who came close to making the Hall of Fame this year, but ultimately fell short, per sources:

• Terrell Suggs
• Marshal Yanda
• Willie Anderson

Based on Hall of Fame rules, all three will automatically be finalists again next year. https://t.co/Ljl18CxvdN
