Cincinnati Bengals teammates, including new names like Jonathan Allen, love the sense of urgency Joe Burrow has added this offseason.

It’s becoming a national topic, too, with a broader audience zooming out and adding that urgency to other notable talking points.

One such talking point? Strength of schedule.

On ESPN’s “Get Up” program, for example, Domonique Foxworth talked about the Bengals having the easiest schedule in the NFL next year.

"A lot of people are going to be playing for their jobs and their futures for that team," Foxworth said. “Especially on that coaching staff. So I think that it’s important that he put that pressure there.”

Detractors will point out that strength of schedule is based on last year’s standings. But the New England Patriots just went to the Super Bowl off one of the easiest schedules, too, which gets looped into the conversation.

Regardless, there’s no debate the Bengals should feel urgency. There’s no debate that another failure of a season would cost many people jobs. So, indeed, Burrow should keep getting praise for changing it up.
