The Cincinnati Bengals quietly have a “new” addition to the offense this year with Erick All.
All, a fourth-round pick in 2024, missed all of last season due to complications after a surgery dealing with a torn ACL.
Looking ahead to 2026, there’s a good chance All is a featured part of the offense once again, health willing.
All is by far the most robust tight end on the Bengals’ roster and, as such, just got the “breakout candidate” treatment from ESPN’s Ben Solak.
“All outsnapped incumbent Mike Gesicki in five of the nine games he played as a rookie and brings a much-needed blocking dimension to Cincinnati's rushing attack,” Solak wrote. “If he's healthy, I expect him to lead the TE room in snaps and spring some big plays.”
All was truly a dynamic weapon for the Bengals, even as a rookie. Whereas Mike Gesicki is more of a slot receiver and Drew Sample a blocker, All can truly do it all and create confusion and mismatches for defenses.
Were it not for an extensive injury history, these traits probably would have had All drafted much higher than where the Bengals got him in the fourth round.
If All can manage to play the majority of a season, the Bengals offense will be much better for it and, indeed, he'd be a breakout.
