Sunday’s game between the Rays and Twins was a matchup of teams that trailed their divisions by a collective 25.5 games. We’re still in July, and there really wasn’t much on the line for either team. But Major League Baseball is still a professional sports league where world-class baseball players compete to win in the spirit of competition. Don’t tell that to the Tampa Bay Rays, though.
