Ben Stiller has reacted to the news of Jeremy Sochan leaving the New York Knicks after winning the NBA title.

Sochan signed a short-term deal with the Knicks midway through last season after being waived by the San Antonio Spurs.

He played 16 regular-season games, averaging 2.8 points and 2.1 rebounds, before playing eight times in the postseason.

Sochan played a total of three minutes against the Spurs in the NBA Finals, but he was still a valuable member of the team.

Stiller echoed the thoughts of many Knicks fans with his heartfelt message after Sochan signed for another team in free agency.

What Ben Stiller said after Jeremy Sochan’s free agency departure

Shams Charania has reported that Jeremy Sochan has signed a one-year deal with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Sochan will hope to have a bigger role with the Trail Blazers than he did with the New York Knicks, despite winning a title.

Famous actor Ben Stiller has now shared his thoughts on Sochan leaving the Knicks after just a few months.

He posted: “Going to miss this guy who brought the energy and winning vibes. And no shirt! NBA champion. Wishing him nothing but success!”

While Sochan was a starter for the Spurs earlier in his career, his new role is to bring energy in limited minutes off the bench.

The Poland international could help the Trail Blazers make the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 2019.
