The Chicago Bears mounted another improbable comeback win over the Green Bay Packers, defeating them 31-27 to advance to the divisional round of the NFC playoffs. But it wasn't without a price as linebacker T.J. Edwards was carted off with an ankle injury.
Following the game, head coach Ben Johnson announced that Edwards suffered a fractured fibula and will miss the rest of the playoffs.
Following Edwards' injury, veteran D'Marco Johnson stepped in alongside Tremaine Edmunds at linebacker, and he figures to serve in that starting role for the remainder of the postseason. Other linebackers on the roster include Amen Ogbongbemiga and rookie Ruben Hyppolite II, who both missed this game with a concussion.
More to come.
