The Chicago Bears were back on the practice field at Halas Hall on Sunday for their 10th practice of training camp, which was delayed by weather before being moved indoors.

The Bears held a roughly two-hour practice inside the Walter Payton Center, and it didn't go without another notable injury. Rookie wide receiver Zavion Thomas limped off the field after suffering an apparent leg injury. It was an overall mixed bag for the offense, which saw standout performances from quarterback Tyson Bagent and receivers Jahdae Walker and Kaden Davis. There were also some notable position battle updates at left tackle, nickel cornerback and safety amid injuries.

Here are some observations, from media members in attendance, following Sunday's training camp practice:

Mixed day for the offense

That's a wrap on today's #Bears training camp practice:

- left early: Zavion Thomas, TJ Edwards (was limited to ind. b4 exit), Matthews
- Mixed day for offense, some sloppiness mixed in w/ big plays
- Xavier Woods @ FS1
- Gervon Dexter Sr., Garrett Bradbury to podium. #DaBears

#Bears practice in the books. Mixed day for the offense overall. Big play ended practice as Tyson Bagent hit Kaden Davis for a long touchdown. The WR made a nice catch in coverage. Good ball.

Bears did put a focus on 3rd and 4th down situations. Tyrique Stevenson got an INT in…

Kiran Amegadjie at left tackle, Xavier Woods at safety, Malik Muhammad at nickel

Bears practice No. 10 is over. We were indoors. Some whims:

- Kiran Amegadjie was with the first team at LT.
- Xavier Wood was starting at S next to Thieneman.
- Malik Muhammad got some run with the first team at nickel.

Zavion Thomas left practice early with apparent knee injury

Another day, another notable injury as Zavion Thomas left practice early after going down on the Walter Payton Center turf. Briefly grabbed his knee and then walked off with a slight limp. #Bears

D'Andre Swift was a standout

Fumble aside, I thought D’Andre Swift was a great today.

The situation today was the Bears’ O was up and needed a 2-min offense to win.

Swift gained 28 yards on 3 carries to win the drill. He was shifty with burst, and had big gains in nearly every team period.

Tyson Bagent had a day

#Bears practice that was just short of 2 hours and was moved indoors has wrapped up. Lots going on. Tyson Bagent was cooking at the end in full team drills.

That’s it for Bears’ indoor practice.
• Xavier Woods started at safety next to Dillon Thieneman
• Kiran Amegadjie got the first reps at LT
• No Sweat, Lewis, Burden, Braxton Jones, Jaylon Jones, D’Marco Jackson, Terell Smith
• Tyson Bagent to Kaden Davis 34-yd TD to end it.

Tyrique Stevenson was back at practice after an injury

Kaden Davis continues to be a standout

Extra point: Kaden Davis is going to make decisions tough at Halas Hall.

He had his great TD where he got the corner and outraced two DBs for a score and ended practice catching a bomb from Bagent for another TD.

Davis also got some snaps for the first team offense.

Jahdae Walker saw time with first-team offense

Bears rookie 3rd-round pick Zavion Thomas exited practice early after getting knocked down during 7-on-7. He’s a guy you’d want to see in the preseason opener Saturday.

Luther Burden did not practice today. Bears WR depth being tested. Jahdae Walker got lots of run with the 1s.
