Chicago signed a former Vol on Tuesday during Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season. Linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin signed with the Bears' practice squad.
He played for the Vols from 2013-16 under head coach Butch Jones and was second-team All-SEC in 2015.
Reeves-Maybin finished his Tennessee career with 240 tackles, 27 tackles for a loss, eight sacks, one interception, two forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and five pass deflections.
His career-high for tackles in a game was 21 against Oklahoma on Sept. 12, 2015. He appeared in four games, including four starts, for Tennessee in 2016 and was injured the remainder of the season due to a shoulder injury.
Reeves-Maybin was selected by Detroit in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL draft (No. 124th overall).
Chicago will next play Pittsburgh on Nov. 23. Kickoff between the Bears and Steelers is slated for 1 p.m. EST. The Week 12 contest will be televised by CBS.
