Then your asking for trouble and big losses most of the time in that situation. I don't think he should just fall by any means. But he should lower his shoulder and barrel forward as far as he can go. His skill set is better designed for that. Had he done that initially we prob would have lost 2-3 yards and not 6.

You should never go backward 15 yards to try and escape. Very few people in the history of this league have had the skills to make that work. The only one I can truly think of was Barry.

I would love to see a RB throw the ball out of bounds around the line of scrimmage to make it an incomplete pass instead of a loss. Actually surprised it doesn't happen

You most likely have blockers who are past the line of scrimage so you really can't do that.

Barry and Bo. They both had a habit of doing that and doing it well. Nobody was like Barry though. Man I would have LOVED to see what that guy could have done behind a real offensive line.

Is everything
If you like stiff arms (my favorite move) you will LOVE Beanie.

Regarding stiff-arms, some of the most effective are when the runner puts his hand right on the defenders face mask area and holds it there and pushing. Why isn't that considered a penalty? I don't recall seeing a ref ever call facemask on a stiff-arm, but if a defender does that the flag almost always gets tossed.

Only if he grabs the face mask is it a penalty. If the defender doesn't want to get facepalmed, well then he should watch where he puts his face.

not really and I pray we never see that again. Barry Sanders he isn't. He dies not have the right skill set to try that.

While I agree, there is one clip in the all the highlight videos where he went wide left, has two defenders right there push him back and he is probably 8 or 9 back of the line at this point, he turns around takes it wide right, gets a great block from his QB and off to pick up about 30. The setup seemed to be similar to where he cut it around here, but Kurt isn't exactly gonna block NFL lineman lol. I hope he doesn't try too often, but I can see how in his mind it was the same situation so he went for it.

I really hope that "hell" doesn't start from next week... I hope it is all heaven from now on.
