There were rumors last month that Bayern Munich had interest in Manchester City’s free agent center-back John Stones.

Now, Stones has reportedly been offered to Bayern Munich by his agent:

Bayern are considering a move for John Stones on a free transfer. Should they progress their interest, Bayern would be in a strong position to see off competition for the defender [@MikeKeegan_DM]

John Stones has been offered to several clubs, including Bayern, because Bayern are expected to sign a centre-back this summer [@FabrizioRomano]

If true, this could be significant. Vincent Kompany has been known to have an affinity for his ex-teammate and Bayern Munich has been rumored to be in the market for a center-back.

While some fans have started dreaming of a big transfer like Manchester City’s Josko Gvardiol or Tottenham Hotspur’s Micky van de Ven and others want to ride it out with Kim Min-jae, Stones could present an intriguing option for one or two years.

Stones is 31-years-old and is said to have a strong relationship with Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane.

United to make a play for BVB’s Ryerson (ESPN)

Manchester United is reportedly interested in Borussia Dortmund outside-back Julian Ryerson:

United are interested in full back Julian Ryerson, reports Sky Germany. United want to sign a back-up option for Diogo Dalot, although signing the 28-year-old would rely on Noussair Mazraoui leaving Old Trafford. The Norway international has a contract that runs until 2028 and Dortmund are happy with him, so it would take an offer worth over €30 million for the Bundesliga club to let him leave.

Ryerson is a very strong player and it would take a significant offer to pry him away from Borussia Dortmund.

Bischof really likes to win (Bavarian Football Works)

Sometimes, Google translate provides you a gem that you just need to share — as our social media guy, Tom Adams, found out when hitting the Google translate option to view a Sky Germany interview with Bayern Munich midfielder Tom Bischof:

Well, I think that says it all.

For clarity, Bischof is just saying the team is excited about winning titles, but we will always have that one moment for Google Translate.

NUFC sets price on Tonali (ESPN)

Newcastle United could be in the midst of a fire sale of sorts as it will reportedly set a price on midfielder Sandro Tonali:

Newcastle United want a fee of £80 million from any club looking to sign midfielder Sandro Tonali this summer, says Football Insider. Tonali, 26, has featured 52 times across all competitions for Newcastle this campaign and a host of teams are monitoring his situation. Indeed, Arsenal are one of the teams who have been heavily linked, along with Manchester United, as both teams look to bolster their midfields.

Galatasaray wants Brandt (Sky Germany’s Patrick Berger)

Borussia Dortmund free agent Julian Brandt is getting interest from Galatasaray:

Galatasaray has made contact with Julian Brandt (30/). The long-time #BVB star is out of contract and wants to keep playing at a high level (abroad!) going forward, so adventures like MLS or Japan are off the table. A move to a Champions League club is the goal.

LFC sets price on Chiesa (Calciomercato via ESPN)

Liverpool might finally be open to selling winger Federico Chiesa:

Liverpool want a fee of around €25 million for winger Federico Chiesa to leave the club this summer, with Juventus and Napoli touted as potential options for the 28-year-old.
