Bayern Munich fans around the world know who Thomas Müller is: the academy boy who became the most underrated player of the 2010s. Blessed with unparalleled tactical intelligence, an eye for goal, relentless energy, leadership, and a knack for setting his teammates up, the Bavarian born-and-bred has cemented his reputation as a top player as proven by this list:

The 36-year-old has pipped Manchester City and Napoli midfielder Kevin De Bruyne to top spot, while Müller’s former teammate and current Bayern and Germany captain Joshua Kimmich sits in fifth place.

What makes this more impressive is that Müller left Bayern for Vancouver Whitecaps last year, while players like De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah, and Bruno Fernandes are all still active. The lattermost recently had one of his best seasons as an assist provider yet Müller reigns supreme at the top. That should tell you how good he is.
