The 16-year-old brother of Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who ripped Bayern Munich to shreds at times in their Champions League semi-final, is having a trial at the Bundesliga titleholders.
"Yes, I can confirm the lad is here and training with us," Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund told a news conference on Friday in reference to Tornike Kvaratskhelia.
"He’s got talent. To say he’s as good as his brother, who is outstanding and a world-class player, would be a bit much. But he’s a talented young player. We’ll have to wait and see how things pan out."
The Bavarians are considering signing the Dynamo Tbilisi winger for their youth team.
His elder brother was instrumental in holders PSG knocking Bayern out in the Champions League semi-finals this week.
