Barcelona set record straight on talk of lowball Marcus Rashford offer

Barcelona have denied making an offer to Manchester United for Marcus Rashford amid continued speculation about the England international’s future.

Recent reports have claimed Barca have made a lowball offer of around €15 million to the Red Devils as they don’t wait to pay his full €30m buy option.

Sources close to Rashford have told Mundo Deportivo that they have no information about a bid being made by Barcelona or rejected by United.

Rashford is now with the England squad for World Cup 2026 and is said to be keen for a resolution before the tournament starts so he can focus purely on his football throughout the tournament and have “peace of mind.”

The England international has made it clear he wants to stay but Barca are yet to definitely state their plans for the forward and have since signed Anthony Gordon from Newcastle.

Yet Barcelona may have to make a decision soon as Rashford’s loan deal is due to expire later this month. As things stand, Rashford is said to be expecting to have to return to United for pre-season.
