Awesome Blossoms take down Rebels in last regular season game

May 18— The Blooming Prairie baseball team closed out its regular season with a 7-3 win over Southland in BP Monday.

Eliot Gimbel had two RBIs for the Awesome Blossoms (14-6 overall) and Beau Sathre had a homer and a double for the Rebels (13-4 overall).

Both teams will begin Section 1A Tournament play on Wednesday, with BP entering as the No. 3 seed and Southland holding the No. 5 seed.
