Augsburg planning move for Hennes Behrens
According to Sky Germany, Augsburg are currently in concrete negotiations with Hoffenheim over a deal for the 21-year-old defender.
The Bundesliga club are looking to complete a permanent transfer rather than a loan, although the move is dependent on current left-back Dimitrios Giannoulis securing a transfer to Greek side PAOK. Negotiations between Augsburg and PAOK are reportedly proving difficult at this stage.
Behrens spent the second half of the 2025/26 season on loan at Heidenheim, where he made 16 Bundesliga appearances. During his spell, he scored one goal and provided two assists, although he was unable to prevent the club from suffering relegation to the 2. Bundesliga.
