AMES, Iowa — Audi Crooks, a dominant and decorated player, announces transfer to Oklahoma State after an impressive career at Iowa State.
Crooks confirmed the news in a post on her X page Sunday night, saying “guess who!!” with an orange heart and cowboy hat. Video shows Audi posing for new headshots and donning the Oklahoma State uniform.
Crooks will remain in the Big 12 Conference, meaning she will likely face her former teammates back on the court in the upcoming season.
Crooks doesn’t just leave—she exits as one of the most dominant players in the country. A 2026 AP Second Team All-American, she also earned second-team honors from the USBWA and The Sporting News, while stacking three straight First Team All-Big 12 selections.

In her junior season, Crooks averaged 25.8 points per game, second in the nation, while shooting an astonishing 64.9% from the floor, also near the top nationally. She added 7.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game, pouring in 801 total points, the second-highest single-season total in program history—trailing only her own record.
Crooks scored in double figures in every game, posted 23 games of 20+ points, nine games of 30+, and stood alone nationally with multiple 40-point performances. Her ceiling was staggering:
- 47 points vs. Indiana, one of the top single-game outputs in Division I that season
- 43 points in under 20 minutes vs. Valparaiso
- 41-point games against Kansas and Kansas State
Efficiency met volume. She shot 75% or better in nine games, never took fewer than eight shots, and recorded 12 double-doubles, bringing her career total to 30.
By the end of her junior year, Crooks had already cemented herself in Iowa State history:
- 2nd all-time in scoring (2,256 points)
- 1st in scoring average (22.8 ppg)
- Top 5 in nearly every major offensive category, including field goals made and attempts
- .611 career field goal percentage, among the best ever
