Auburn softball junior outfielder Thalia Martin announces her plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal via her X account.

The junior from Lilburn, Georgia, spent three seasons on the Plains, making 98 appearances. Martin was used as a pinch runner in her time with the Tigers, and this previous season saw a career high of 11 in total runs scored.

In her few plate appearances, she drew two walks and finished with a on-base percentage of .667 and stole one base. Coming out of Brookwood High School in Georgia, she was ranked as the No. 15 overall recruit, according to Extra Inning Softball. She earned Student-Athlete of the Month and 7A First Team All-Region.

She is the first to announce intentions to enter the NCAA transfer portal from the softball program. Auburn finished the season 27-28 and went 4-20 in SEC play. The Tigers will head into the third year under the head coaching duo of Chris and Kate Malveaux in 2027.
