Auburn football has been one of the busiest programs in the cycle as new head coach Alex Golesh entered the job needing to replace over 30 slots made by outgoing transfers. He has made progress by adding 23 commitments from the transfer portal, ranging from important offensive skill positions to the defensive backfield. Auburn begins the day ranked No. 12 in the nation in 247Sports' transfer portal rankings, which is sixth-best in the SEC. Texas has produced the most talented transfer portal roster at this point in the cycle, with 13 commitments, including one from former Auburn wide receiver Cam Coleman. Penn State, Oklahoma State, LSU, and Ole Miss round out the top five, with Texas A&M, Kentucky, Texas Tech, Arizona State, and Indiana trailing them in the top 10. California is the team occupying the spot above Auburn.
