After a week of rumors, the Atlanta Falcons have officially hired Tommy Rees as their new offensive coordinator. Rees will replace Zac Robinson, who took the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator job on Thursday.

Rees previously served as the Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator under Stefanski in 2025 after joining the staff as an assistant in 2024. Prior to his stint in Cleveland, Rees was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Alabama in 2023, and held the same role at Notre Dame from 2020-2023.

Cleveland's offense finished 30th in yards per game (262.1) and 31st in total points (16.4 points per contest) last season as the team struggled to settle on a starting quarterback. Joe Flacco opened the year as the starter, the Dillon Gabriel stepped in before Shedeur Sanders to close the season.
